Purple Peacock ~ a look for going out

Gooood afternoon there!
My grandma's birthday was on the 27th of January, and my uncle had flown in to spend some time with us so we all went out to eat at Macaroni Grill for her birthday! It was a good time, good food, and my dad's girlfriend brought delicious cake!! Here's the look I did. It was a special occasion, so I did somethin kinda fun!

ALSO! You can maybe see, I got my ears pierced again =D It was horribly painful, but I was a big girl and I didn't cry or anything! Haha. I got it done at a nice piercing studio here in town, and it was a pretty pleasant experience. It's a couple weeks out at this point and they're fairly well healed, but still hurt >.< especially when I try to lay on my side, which makes sleeping... tough. Oh, how we suffer for beauty!!

A little pink/purple look

Just wanted to share a really simple look with you. This is nothing special, but I'm trying to actually photograph my makeup sometimes so this is a start!

This is NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencil in Lavender overlaid with a pink that I made (Candy Sideshow, a neon-ish pink with green, blue and purple sparkles to it) all over the lid, and Aromaleigh Spellbound in the crease. Mascara here is Wet N Wild LashIntense mascara, which is currently discontinued I believe, but this is my favorite mascara and I've stocked up on some from ebay ;D. I love doing pink and purple together! It looks lovely, even if it isn't super exciting <3

Puricute, and Gimp image software

Hallo!!

I wanted to make a quick post to highlight a couple cool things that I've come to really enjoy, and that hopefully you will too!

The first is Puricute. This is a website that lets you upload photos and alter them in the style of Purikura! (aka: Flippin adorable <3)
Here are some of my silly puricute pictures! You can see them animated if you check out my profile!

It's adorable and fun and I loves it <3 Go check it out! They have contests once in a while, too =D

Next is Gimp. This has been around forever but I only recently downloaded it. It's just a free image editor- like photoshop, only accessible and the people who own it aren't assholes...
Anyway, it's a great program and has all the basic junk you need to edit photos/drawings/whatever. There are TONS of addons for it as well, which is great! You can find everything on the website. Just wanted to throw that out there, in case anyone was needing a decent image program!!

Eyeshadow tutorial- blackened purple smokey cat eye

Heyheyhey!
This tutorial is something I did for my German final last semester (that class was awesome!!), so I've finally gotten around to posting it here!
It's, like the title says, a very dark, purple cat eye. Quite a dramatic look and really really fun!

Start by priming your lids with your favorite primer (I used UDPP)

Then, use a white pencil (NYX slide on eye pencil "pure white") to draw a suitable shape (I do this because I can't freehand it with shadow to save my life! Always ends up lopsided. Skip this step if you're comfortable doing so!

Then, fill this shape in with a metallic black base. This is Kryolan aqua pearlshades "anthracite"

I then used a blackened, shimmery purple shadow over top of the black base. This is "Coma Black" from Black Rose Minerals.

And theeeeeeeeen, use a dark shimmery purple in the crease to blend out the edge. This is Fyrinnae's "Shinigami"
I also applied some black liner on the lower lashline, and smudged Shinigami over the top of that.

Now, apply a bright purple (I used TKB "Grape Pop") on the inner 1/3 of the eye, and sweep some shimmery, light purple shadow over top (TKB "Hilite Violet"). Also use Hilite Violet to blend out the edge of Shinigami. Don't be afraid to take this kinda far up.

Apply your highlight color (as usual, I used "Faerie" from Lost In Makeupland)

Then, apply your favorite face products and mascara, etc.

Done!

Back again tonight, to share some of my most favorite items from Edenfantasys with you! These are all lingerie items, and are generally safe for work, but be aware that there are some sexy pictures of models wearing lingerie ahead, so please plan accordingly!

I'm not quite ready to ~review~ any of these items yet, so I'm just providing a little overview. But rest assured, I'm only recommending these items because I seriously love them and definitely think others would love them too!

First up is an awesome pair of stockings that I bought a little while ago and fell 100% in love with right away! They're the "Lace top stockings with backseam" and I have mine in black. They will only set you back $5, which is awesome for a pair of nice stockings! My first reason to love these: BACKSEAM! I think all stockings, tights, pantyhose, thigh highs, whatever should ALL have backseams!! There is nothing sexier AND classier at the same time. Just.. love. All day. Next, they're very good quality! These will run if you snag them, as will any usual pair of stockings, but they don't seem exceptionally thin or easy to snag. They also don't have a super thick, tight band at the top. Having larger thighs (about 23" around) I usually have problems with most thigh highs and have to simply cut the top bands off, since they cause serious muffin top, roll down and just look awful! These really don't have those issues. They squish a little bit, but not much and they're perfectly comfortable. However, these really need a garter belt in order to stay up

Along these same lines are these "Sheer backseam pantyhose" which come in beige and black, and cost $6.99

I got the beige first, because the black was out of stock and boy was it a good purchase! They're essentially invisible on my pale skin, but I do think they'd look obvious on mid-dark colored skin. The backseam on the beige ones is subtle, but it's there and it's so sexy! The black ones are just as awesome, but of course in black!! The seam is very flat, and not at all uncomfortable. These fit me very well, and my only complaint is that the material stretches some during daily wear. It goes back after a wash, but it's a little annoying anyway. I plan on getting more of these once the ones I have wear out. They're really great and I'm so happy I found them!

Lastly, we have something that I got just recently, the "Fully boned sequin waist cincher" This will set you back $52.99 at its normal price, but it is on sale right now and I suggest you take advantage! You can read the reviews on the product page to give you a proper idea, but this really is an awesome cincher <3 and with metal boning and nice, solid construction, this is really a bargain. The sequins are each sewn on individually and really look great (as sequins do!!) and the size chart is quite accurate. Of course, corsets are more customizable when it comes to size. Order down if you want more skin showing in the back, or up if not! I chose an XL. My measurements are: 35.5" Underbust ~ 35.5" Waist ~ 39" Hip and this fits me swimmingly! There is not too much exposed skin under the lacing in the back, but just enough to be sexy.

It's easy to open and close, with bra-style hooks all down the front. It also comes with PLENTY of strong lacing, so you'll easily be able to fit, even if the corset it a little small for you. There are also removable garters! These hook on securely and have metal hardware, so I'm really not worries about them losing their grip on stockings or falling off like others sometimes do. Highly recommended!

JLAz costuming- recent events

I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from events I've done in the past month or so with the Justice League Arizona <3

First, the Fiesta Bowl Parade. This was on December 31st in Phoenix!

Here's a short clip that has the Arizona Avengers and the Justice League in it.

I'm on the other side of the road. See? (We were marching STRAIGHT into the sun almost the whole time >.< no fun! But it was an awesome time anyway =D )

Good times! This parade was a serious walk, but the weather was pretty nice, and it ended up going darn well I think.

We also attended the Amazing Arizona Comic Con in Mesa just recently (January 6-8th)

It was BUCKETS of fun, even though it was a really small convention!

NYX Slim Lip Pencils swatches and review-ish

I have liplinerzzz to show you all!

FUSCHIA + PURPLE RAIN + HOT RED + BLACK BERRY

All these lipliners are great, honestly. I don't even have too much to say..

Fuschia is a great hot bright pink, fairly cool toned and looks lovely. Purple rain is a midtone sort of purple. Hot Red is a cool red, and Black Berry is simply black. They all wear really well and while I still do get some feathering after a while (depending on the circumstances), it's light enough that I just don't care. I'm very happy with all of these, no doubt!

Essence- bubble babe lip gloss swatches

I picked up this lipgloss from Essence at Ulta recently. It's called "Bubble Babe"

BUBBLE BABE

This is a pretty fair gloss overall. A little sticker than I like, but not so much that I won't wear it. It's just a clear sort of gloss with some pinkish/clear glitter in it. Pretty on its own or over something else, however you want to wear it! It isn't a spectacular gloss, but as a drugstore brand it performs really well.

Essence is killing me with their new collection right now, though! Mostly because I CAN'T HAVE IT! =( When will they start properly selling in the US, I wonder?

Students who are attending cosmetology school in the US must be wondering the same thing.

Makeup, Beauty and Bath items at Edenfantasys

Hello again! I'm back with Edenfantasys! Today, I'd like to show you all some of the beauty/bath items recently added to Edenfantasys that I've been loving, or wanting!

First, the Lip Lovely Set!
I was first drawn by the cute packaging and lovely presentation of this set, but I've also been really needing a good lip scrub and this looked like it might fit the bill. I ordered this pretty recently and received it around a week ago. The little box it came in was cute, but not practical for storage, so I tossed it. The two little jars have this adorable print on them which you can see on the product page. They look great, and I love having them displayed with all my other lotions and perfumes and whatnot!
The scrub works wonderfully. It is petroleum based, so keep that in mind if you dislike petroleum products. The texture is thick and a lot like vaseline, and of course it's gritty due to the sugar granules. I take a small amount (really, you don't need too much) on my finger and gently rub it into my lips in small circles. Then, I use a damp washcloth to further scrub my lips. Once finished, I use the same washcloth to clean the scrub off. This can be a little tough, since it is petroleum based and wants to stick, so you'll definitely need to rub to get it all off. Once clean, my lips feel wonderful! They are very smooth and soft, just as I expected! This is a must if your lips get flaky and gross sometimes, like mine.
This set also includes a lip balm. To me, this didn't feel much like a balm, but instead like a somewhat moisturizing lip gloss. It doesn't feel like it's made of waxes and oils like other balms, and really it doesn't feel so moisturizing. It's not a bad product, but is much more like a gloss than anything else. I prefer to use my own favorite lip balm after the scrub instead.

I got the Strawberry scent, and I love it! The lip scrub and balm both smell like sweet strawberries and cream. However, please try to keep the scrub out of your mouth! It tastes awful, very chemical-y and just all around gross. I don't find that the "balm" has any specific taste, the I think the texture of it makes it unpleasant to lick, so I'd keep my tongue off this as well.
I'd definitely recommend this set to anyone in need of a scrub, who's also a sucker for cutesy packaging! You don't have to sacrifice quality for cuteness here.

I also want to touch on this body lotion by the same brand. Overall, I like this product. It has a similar cute print on the jar, and is also a quality product. I got the Honeysuckle/Grapefruit. I will admit, I'm not crazy about the scent. It's fine and I'll use it, but I think I would have preferred the other one more. It's just a touch too floral for me, really!
As for function, this is a pretty light lotion. I don't exactly know if I would describe it as whipped, but it is light. I don't find it at all greasy, just a great moisturizer. This is on par with many other lotions that I like to use, and I have no complaints about it. It's moisturizing, packaged nicely, and the jar is enormous. I honestly think it will be a VERY long time before I run out of this! My only regret is the scent I got, but that's just a personal preference! I would also recommend this lotion to anyone, it's a great product at a great price.

There are also some items I've been wanting but haven't yet ordered.
This Walnut Sugar Scrub looks great! The price is low, and the reviews are very positive. I don't have a good body scrub, so I could definitely use this! I can't wait to try it.

I'm also interested in this shave cream. The reviews are a little hit and miss, though, and I don't know exactly how useful it would be for me personally, so this is one I'm still thinking over. What do you think?

And last but not least, the Sweet Escape Desserted Island duo! This comes with a hand creme and shower gel, in sweet sounding scents. The reviews on most products from Cake are really positive, which makes me excited to try this set!

There are SO MANY new bath and body items on Edenfantasys, not to mention some makeup! It always makes me happy when Eden adds new goodies, and I think it's extra cool to see this new category of stuff hanging around!

Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss; "Jesse"

I picked this up during a clearance sale a while ago, and it looks like this particular shade isn't around anymore.
But here are some swatches of the gloss. Over bare skin, as usual:

JESSE

I really like this gloss. It's a plummy purple color, high shine/gloss, with just a tiny bit of subtle sparkle. The color is really sheer on the lips; just a light wash of color. I LOVE this over the UD Lip Envy stain (I have "Greedy"), since I find that the stain comes off patchy and this evens it out wonderfully.

This has a pretty thick texture, and is a bit sticky. I do HATE sticky glosses (like MAC glosses), and don't have problems with this. It's most gooey than sticky, and while you probably will get any loose-flying hairs stuck in this, I don't think it's unreasonably sticky.

I've seen that a lot of people really dislike the smell of this. I am not one of those people! It's supposed to smell like creme brulee. I find the smell to be a lot like fresh oatmeal cookies, or pancakes and syrup. There is no very noticeable taste. The smell IS fairly strong, and I find that this gloss will last me most of the day, and the smell sticks around just as long. Again, I am a big fan of the scent, but others really seem to hate it, so be aware!

Sugar Pie + Dolly Pink

You can see my other post about there HERE. The only thing I want to add is that as time has gone on, I find myself not really liking the smell so much. It's not bad, just too sweet for me anymore.

Sugar Pie is a lovely nude gloss. It has some sparkle to it but is generally pretty low-profile. I like this for WAAAAAY neutral days for me (not often!).

Dolly Pink is great! Super bright, BRIGHT pink! I like to apply this very very sparingly and spread it all over my lips. It creates a super thin layer which isn't goopy at all, but acts almost like a stain. The bit of stickiness in it keeps it on the lips a while. Love it!!

A quick happy new year!

On the 31st, I finally had my Black Alice costume done for the Justice League and I marched in the Fiesta Bowl Parade yaaaaaay! Fun times.

NYX mega shine lipgloss swatches and a small review

I only have two of these glosses, but I really like them and would get more in the future <3 so here you are!

Chandelier + African Queen

These are great glosses, I think. They are ever so slightly sticky, but just enough that they have a little extra staying power and not enough to be irritating (I'm really, really not a fan of sticky glosses). They are scented really nicely and smell/taste sweet. The scent is strong, so if you're very sensitive to scents, be careful with these. However, I do enjoy it.

Chandelier really gives me just a pretty, glossy pink with some sparkle. It's a great color for more casual or toned-down looks, I think.

African Queen is very well pigmented, and great for dramatic looks!

They both last for a number of hours, but do not stand up at all to eating, in my experience, and if you'll be out for a while (more than 3 hours or so), I would suggest taking them along to reapply as they will fade with time.

I'm very happy with these glosses, and would absolutely get more of them. Chandelier is definitely my favorite. It's so sparkly!

Hot Topic Foil Lip Gloss- Swatches and review

Hallo! I have some swatches for you. Today, I'd like to talk about Hot Topic's foil lip glosses. I picked up the pink and blue glosses when they were on clearance just recently for about $2 each. Gotta say, I'm not too impressed.

BLUE + PINK

These glosses are pretty meh. Theyre unbranded, just labeled with "Hot topic foil lip gloss" and the ingredients. The pink is alright. It's very sheer, but it's glossy and pretty and the green highlight shows up. The blue, however, is disappointing. It looks pretty, but on my lips it sinks into lines, is patchy and really sheer. It just looks bad =(

Both of these are unscented, so they just smell like the ingredients in them. It's kinda unpleasant, really. I might pick up a flavor oil or two from TKB so that I can use these without em being icky. The texture is fine. They feel a little thick, but are only slightly sticky. Not bad, but could be better. These are likely not available anymore, but just in case, I don't recommend them. The pink is okay, but there are WAY better cheapo glosses. I'll still see if I can work with them since I have them, but I definitely wouldn't repurchase.

One star, because the pink looks pretty nice on me.

Milani Lip Flash pencil- Star Flash swatches and a small review

I'm a big fan of Milani~ I just love their stuff so much! SO I had to pick up a Lip Flash pencil when I was at the drugstore a while back! I chose Star Flash, a light light pink with plenty of shimmer to it.

STAR FLASH

This is your usual jumbo pencil, about the same size as NYX's jumbo eye and lip pencils. The texture is kinda sticky. Not in a sticky lipgloss way, but in a thick sort of lipstick base way, if you get what I mean. It drags a little when you apply it, but I find that it still looks really nice. There's no scent, so it just smells like the ingredients that make it up. Not really a bad smell, but not all that pleasant either, I think.

Overall, I really love this pencil. The texture could be glossier, but it looks awesome on me. It's a super light pink with tons of sparkle, great for casual days. 5 stars for this little guy!

Maybelline and Rimmel lipstick swatches/review

I have two lipsticks to show you, Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in "Plum Paradise" and Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick in "Dizzy"

PLUM PARADISE

These are both nice lipsticks. I'm not so much of a lipstick person, but I do like both of em!

Dizzy: A nice, bright pink. This is very wearable and very pink. The texture is pleasant and creamy. It has a sweet sort of fruity scent to it that I don't much care for, though. The scent is overly sweet and pretty strong, but I can deal, I guess. I would give this 3.5 stars out of 5, really because of the unpleasant smell.

Plum Paradise: A more dramatic, very reddish plum sort of shade. This one looks nice on my lips, but is a bit more dramatic than some might like for a daytime look. Like Dizzy, this has a nice creamy texture, but I do find it to be less moisturizing. The scent is mild and unobtrusive, only slightly sweet. Mostly it tastes/smells like lipstick! 4 stars for this one.

501st Events!! Reid Park Zoo Howl-O-Ween

There have been a number of events since I last posted about the 501st, and I'd like to share some stuff with you all! First, I finally have my armor in working order. Yay!! Here's a picture of me after first getting it all situated. I got it on all myself! I was pretty proud...

And now on to my very first troop, the little Halloween event for kids at the local zoo. This was a way for people (mostly little kids) to trick or treat in a safe and non scary place. There were tons of really cool displays around, from pirates to disney princesses! The JLAZ (link goes to the whole justice league site, but the AZ chapter is the core if it all!) was there too, right next to the 501st setup, since we are indeed intimately intertwined here in Tucson!

I don't have tons of my own pictures, but here are some!

This is Karen and Frankie. For a long time, it was believed that they were the same person, since they were never at the same place at the same time. This was, however, the third(?) time they were together... we've decided that if they are ever together a total of 7 times, that's when the world will end. I still believe they're the same person, just wildly talented and doin some kind of tricky magic...

Here I be with another little somethin' about Edenfantasys WOO! This time, I wanted to share a few things from my wishlist. I'm gonna keep it a bit more tame, though, since my mom reads this blog and.. AHEM... I don't need to have her seeing the sex toys I want! =P But anyway, keep on readin if you want to see some sexeh things!

First up, I want to just tell you that Pink is the best silicone lube ever, it's awesome, safe for teh laydeeparts, and just all around great. Do check it out, I think it's awesome and I never need to bother with any other silicone lube, honestly. And that leads me to the first item on my list, Pink Water. Like everything else on my wishlist, I haven't tried it, but boy do I want to! With how awesome Pink silicone is, Water must be great too, and of course any good toybox needs silicone AND water-based lube! Remember, you can NOT use silicone-based lube with anything made of silicone, as they will react badly with each other and you'll end up with ruined toys!

The next thing I wanted to share is the "Mesh Panty with Satin Bow". 5 Eyeliners and a Lipgloss has a glowingly positive review of these, so I've been pretty interested. Normally, I get my undies at Ross and spend all of $3 a pair, but I may make an exception for these!

I'm also WAY interested in their Seductive Schoolgirl costume! It looks really well put together, my only worry is getting a proper size for me! I love the looks of this one. It isn't over the top unreasonably revealing, but it is sexy and so cute!

AND THENNNN we have the "Exotic Web Babydoll" which is perfect for Halloween (Or any day at all, as far as I'm concerned!) I just wish there was some sizing info available~ no way am I gonna buy something without knowing how it fits! But man is it adorable <3 I loves me some spiderwebs!

Also! There's this "Naughty People Thong". It has Zombie on it. Other things too, but Zombies are the most important. WOOZOMBIES! They have boxer-briefs of this print available, as well!

And last but certainly not least, the "Wet Look Booty Shorts". Oh my FSM are these sexy or what!? I need em, and there is no question that I WILL order them in the near future! Shiny, belt loops, zippers AHMAGAWD they're great! AND they have garters on them, what else could you want?

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics swatches and a teeny tiny review

A while ago, I was one of the winners of a little contest held by Dawn Eyes Cosmetics. As a prize, I was able to pick five different samples to receive =) I happily chose Holographic Lavender, Very Hot Pink, Super Sparkle Black Green, Holographic Black, and Purple Velvet.
The samples were shipped to me quickly, in a plain envelope with a note <3
The samples come in very small ziploc baggies. I prefer sample bags to be smaller, just gives less space for the pigment to sink into!

Here are your swatches!
Swatched over ELF primer on the left, and Pixie Epoxy on the right

Holographic Lavender is a pretty pale lavender (derp!) with holographic glitter. The glitter didn't come off super bright to me, but it's there and it's a pretty color anyway. Since the glitter is chunky, you'll want to use a sticky base for this.

Very Hot Pink is really lovely =D Of course, it looks better over PE but is fine without. Just a great bright hot pink.

Super Sparkle Black Green is.. black with green sparkles. SURPRISE! This one also works much better over PE, but I find myself wishing the sparkles were a little more abundant.

Holographic Black is more greyed out, also with holographic sparkle. This is one that you'd definitely want to use over a sticky base, and is my least favorite of them all.

Purple Velvet looks, to me, like an ULTRA blackened purple with purple sparkle. I found that this one had the most obvious sparkle out of the 3 black-with-sparkle colors, and I think it's the prettiest! Yay purple!

Milk of Magnesia for oily skin

HiHi!

I know this is a common enough tip, but I only heard about it recently so I wanted to share!

So, any of you out there with oily skin probably aren't super excited about being greasy all day, so USE THIS STUFF!

Step 1: Buy Milk of Magnesia (I go with whatever's cheapest. It's all the same stuff anyway.)
Step 2: Shake up the bottle real nice
Step 3: Pour some into the cap (or any other convenient small container you have handy)
Step 4: Dab a cotton ball into it and apply to YO FACE! (a little at a time, but don't be afraid to be generous!)
Step 5: Allow to dry (you'll have streaky white crap all over~ don't worry, it's normal!)
Step 6: Wipe off with a damp washcloth (make sure to get it all, you don't want any little white bits left over =( that's not sexy!)
Step 7: ?????
Step 8: Profit!

Srs. If you have oily skin, USE this stuff, it's impressive. I've been using it daily for about 3 months now and I am absolutely 100% sold. I won't leave the house without using it, ever.

A few more Lost In Makeupland swatches

Heyas! Along with my fullsize of Faerie, I got three samples (2 shadows, 1 blush) so here are some more swatches!

But I Like It + Volta + Seven Nation Army

But I Like It is probably not a very me-color, but it is interesting and the sample is very generous!

Volta and Seven Nation Army are both awesome. The pigmentation is really great, and just... yeah. Seven Nation Army appeared to have more silver sparkle to it than anything, but gold/copper is showing up in the picture for some reason!

These colors are all lovely. I like the blush even though I don't think it'll do much for my skintone, and the shadows are really gorgeous! Much much better pigmentation than the ones I swatched previously.

In my opinion, it's incredibly important to see reviews before I buy anything, especially adult products, so it's great to be able to sit down after finding an item that interests me and read reviews from plenty of other people to get a solid idea of whether the product is right for me, and what to expect. Again with the winning. HOWEVER, they have a really reasonable return policy if something goes wrong!

So in summation: Edenfantasys. They have a lot of stuff. Also, a lot of awesome. I'm sure if they were a big physical store, they'd probably hand out free cake as well (and it wouldn't be a lie at all :O)

Geek Chic cosmetics! Swatches and review

Hello again! About a month ago-ish, Geek Chic was having an awesome sale, and I was seduced into buying 3 full sizes (I didn't even ample first! Takin' a walk on the wild side!), Vector and Stay Indoors from the Geeks VS Zombies collection, and Solid Snake from the Single Player collection.
Along with my order was a free sample of Eyes of the Werewolf, and a business card.

These colors are all great. They apply as wonderfully as I've come to expect from the world of indie eyeshadow, and they all look lovely!

Eyes of the Werewolf, when I first saw it, wasn't terribly interesting to me (as neutrals generally are not interesting to me!), but on the rare occasion that I do need to do a neutral eye, I've found that it's a wonderful color for me, it really is great and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the color.

Vector is also nice, but to me the green in it seems a little weaker than I would like. It looks much like the swatch on the website, though, so there wasn't any false advertising, just me wanting more green!

I took pictures of Stay Indoors and Solid Snake together specifically because I always think it's tough to really judge black + sparkle colors without close-up pictures, so I hope these help anyone who's unsure. I love them both. They're pretty straightforward, the photos here are quite accurate to what they look like in real life.

There's nothing I have specifically to say here. The colors are all great, I even liked the neutral one! Shipping was prompt and it arrived quickly, and I had no issues with my order.

I would absolutely recommend Geek Chic to anyone, this experience was great!

Lost in Makeupland swatches and review

Edit 8/27/11: I ordered a full size (Mini, in a 5 gram jar) of Faerie and it arrived today along with two shadow and one blush sample, and a sweet thank you note on the business card. All that was in a pink organza bag (A company after my own heart <3). I think the note was so sweet on top of the coupon code, I am really happy to support this company and will swatch the samples I got soonish- school's going now so I have less free time! Just wanted to be sure I updated. The highlighter has no sifter and it's packed so full I'm afraid to open it!! It also has a shrink band <3 much love for extra protection! I made an order from Lost in Makeupland on June 15th of this year. I don't remember exactly when it arrived (sorry!), but it was apparently a bit later than her usual TAT, so along with my order (a few samples) I got two extra samples and a coupon for 40% of a future order, along with a little handwritten 'sorry' note. Glow + Faerie + Goomer + Man in the Box + Love, Hate, Love + Would?

Glow + Faerie

I purchased samples of Glow, Faerie, Goomer, and Love, Hate, Love. The other two were free.

Goomer and Man in the Box came off somewhat less pigmented than I would have expected, and Love, Hate, Love was slightly more sheer than I usually like. Would?, however, is a lovely color all around.

Glow and Faerie are aaaaawesome! I love them <3 They're quite similar to each other, in that they are both very soft highlight colors with some shimmer. Glow is warmer and has subtle golden sparkle to it, and Faerie is a pink-hued neutral color with just a teensy bit of shimmer. I really loved them both and I had a bit of a debate on which one I would get full size, since I need a more toned down highlighter for everyday stuff. I decided on Faerie since I just kinda liked it more for an everyday thing, so that's on its way now =)

I was a little disappointed with the pigmentation on some of the colors, unfortunately, but Glow and Faerie were just awesome for me in every way, I use them all the time.

I was fine with the TAT being a little longer, and was pleasantly surprised when I got a coupon! That definitely influenced me to purchase a full size jar more.

I will have to try some of these colors with different bases to see what happens; if I see any big changes, I'll update here. However, I am overall quite happy with this order and would recommend Lost in Makeupland.

NK HD eyeshadow swatches and review

Here's another prize that I got from Shonablew007
These are just two shadows. I'm not familiar with this brand at all, but they're your basic pressed affair; a square of shadow in a plastic clamshell container with a clear lid.

Swatchies! These are over Elf eye primer.

3031 + 3020

I really quite like the colors. 3031 is a midtone purple with a strong silvery quality to it. My only complaint is that it's... sticky. When I was swatching it, it stuck to the brush =\ very odd. It also clumped up a bit. However, it still applied pretty much fine, it was just weird, and after I was done swatching it stuck to my brush quite a bit and was harder to wipe off than normal.

3020 is a simple navy blue. This one doesn't really have the same stickiness to it, but it is a little sticky as well. I find myself wondering what causes this, but then I realize that I don't actually care that much >.>

Anyway, what you see here is what you get. These colors are quite straightforward, and I find that the way they look in the pan is pretty much the way they look applied.

From what I've found, they only cost a couple dollars. Personally, I wouldn't buy them since I love my indie shadow and I wouldn't give it up for anything in the world <3 but if you're looking for an inexpensive shadow, these would be a pretty good choice. They're definitely nothing spectacular, but they're nice for what they are; pigmentation is good and they seem to wear fairly well on me.

Klean Color palettes review and swatches

Good day! As mentioned in my NYX swatches here, I won a giveaway from Shonablew007 on Youtube. My package contained various products, among them two Klean Color palettes in Chic & Toxic, and Posh & Seductive. You can see these palettes here!
The colors weren't named or anything, so I just swatched them in the same configuration as they are on the palettes.

I'll be honest here, the pigmentation on these is hit and miss. Some of them really are nice. Not superduperawesome, but nice. The two shimmery whites in Chic & Toxic are good, and the gold and blue in the middle are okay. The darker colors (The black, navy blue, etc.) Are lacking, though =( So that's no fun. As for Posh & Seductive, the neutral/brown colors go on alright, and the shimmery purple in the middle on the top row is nice. The blue and green have less pigmentation than I like, and the rest are somewhere in the middle.

Overall, these are a couple of okay palettes. I wouldn't repurchase, as I'm not a huge fan of pressed shadows anyway and I already have colors that could replace these, and those colors that have less pigmentation are just not worth it, unfortunately.

Wet N Wild "I Dream Of Greenie" color icon swatches and review

Hi hi again! I have another palette to show you all, this time it's the WnW i dream of greenie palette. This is the other color icon palette I picked up after hearing much about and can safely say that it's also a good one =) I just wish I had this when I was going to all those Green Lantern events, I hardly have any green eyeshadow!! (I have no idea why not, really. I was surprised!)

This palette is simple and straightforward. The colors aren't really that out there or anything, but they're good basic greens, I think. I don't have tons to say about this palette other than it's nice, and if you need some greens, this would be a good choice =)

Wet N Wild "Blue Had Me At Hello" color icon palette swatches and review

Hey there! Today I have swatches of the Wet N Wild "Blue Had Me At Hello" palette. I'd heard a lot of hullabaloo about it and after looking at some other swatches/reviews, I decided to pick one up!

I quite like these shadows. They're not quite up to par with the indie shadows I love, but they are really really nice, and inexpensive! The dark blacks are just a bit lacking, I think, but I expected that. They are still nice, however, and are genuinely black. The silver color (left side of the palette) is very nice, as are the eyelid and crease colors from the right side. Just lovely overall and definitely worth the money!
I would recommend this to those who are unsure, all in all it's a good palette.

Hard Candy luminizer and blush review and swatches

Hey again! I recently picked up Hard Candy's First Flush kit, and would like to share swatches from two of the products included! The lipgloss will be shown off later, I promise =)

First up, Blush Crush Baked Blush in Living Doll:

I really quite like this blush. It's a straightforward, somewhat shimmery, midtone pink. This is one I reach for a lot (the days I wear any blush, that is!) and I am glad that I got a smaller size, because the regular one just looks too big for someone like me who really doesn't use blush often (it also takes up less space). I have only one complaint, and that is that the pan was not properly secured into the package. It rattled around suspiciously until I finally tipped it upside down and the blush fell out into my hand! Luckily, that was easy to fix by just super-gluing it back in. Otherwise, I think this is a great inexpensive blush, and the color payoff is great on my skintone. I would definitely recommend this to others!

Now we have the Glow All The Way luminizer, in Doll Face.

I love this product! It's a shimmery cream luminizer/highlighter with a slight pinkish cast to it. I may actually get a full size of this one since it's so inexpensive and I really do like it! I've heard some people mix this in to their moisturizer and it adds a pretty glow, and I can see how that would work well, but I'm not really interested in using it that way so I couldn't tell you how that would work out. I use this as I do any highlighter, applying it to the tops of my cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and cupid's bow. This is one that I can use a bit more liberally since it actually comes off subtlely, provided you don't use tons of it. It adds a gorgeous subtle shimmer and highlight, I think it's just awesome! I would also highly recommend this product, especially for the low price.

A while ago, I won a giveaway from Shonablew007 on Youtube! Among the prizes were some NYX shadows. So here are swatches for your viewing pleasure!

Platinum Pink + Champagne + Copper + Root Beer + Herb

These shadows are alright.I find Platinum Pink, Champagne and Copper easier to work with than Root Beer and Herb. The latter two are a little tough to get great pigmentation out of, but the former three are pretty nice! Platinum Pink and Champagne go on especially well, I think.
As I did not purchase these, I can't say I'd repurchase since they're not really colors I usually use, but I would say that they're worth the price and would recommend them.

Between The Stars + Slime & Snails + Lost & Lonely + Sex, Drugs, & Rock 'n' Roll + Parental Advisory + Revanche

The Labyrinth colors were actually the first I got from Hi-Fi and I really love them. Between The Stars is my favorite, I think. Though I did think Slime & Snails would be a little less sheer. I picked up Sex, Drugs, & Rock'n'Roll recently. I just couldn't get over how great it looked and I'm happy to say, it was very well-represented in the shop photos, and all the other swatches I found. However, it really looks better over a sticky base, and especially over black.

As before, my orders from Hi-Fi have always gone well. I've ordered twice from their Etsy shop and once from Artfire. Both times, everything went smoothly. Things shipped promptly and arrived when expected, everything was packed well, and business cards and samples were included with my orders. I'm very happy with Hi-Fi and even though I've severely limited myself on buying eyeshadows, I still may buy from them occasionally.

Sparkle Turquoise + Echo + Ballad Blue + Indian Blue

Echo and Ballad Blue go wonderfully together, Sparkle Turquoise is just lovely to use over top of a color, or to highlight or whatever else you like, and Indian Blue is also really nice. And as always, TKB is a great company to order from, but remember that these micas are not finished eyeshadows when you buy them, I have added a bit of Magnesium Myristrate and a bit of the TKB Matte Texture Base to them to improve their wear.

Hey! I have some swatches and whatnot to get posted when I stop being lazy, but I wanted to share some of the pictures from this past Saturday. There was a big fundraiser at Costco for the Children's Miracle Network, and I took many pictures! We ended up raising $700 with our photo booth and selling bubble lightsabers, so WOO! It was a lot of fun.

A nice group photo. There were a lot more people there (We had 501st, Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercenaries, AND Arizona Ghostbusters. Hooray!)

SoBe Primed and Proper

Here are my experiences using Sobe's Primed and Proper. This is really sort of a journal format, I wrote it in pieces after each use. Just recording my results with this product. All I can say is that I was hoping for more. Prepare for lots of sadfaces!

Right off the bat, it doesn't seem to create much of a base for my shadows to cling to. When I pat color on as normal, I can see the veins in my eyelid through the shadow. Now, I do have quite obvious veins all around the eyelid area, but this isn't something I've experienced yet. Every shade I've used seemed sheer. Even using Pixie Epoxy didn't seem to create the same BAM it usually does =(
It's recommended to use it wet if that works, but I'm usually using such a tiny tiny amount that by the time I even get it onto my whole lid, it's bone dry.
With UDPP I'm used to just slapping on some primer, patting on shadow and not even thinking about it. I've slept without removing my makeup a few times, and it's still fairly there in the morning. I don't know what to do!

First use: used a small amount, as I had gathered that was appropriate. Spread over eyelids and up to crease, and on lower lashline. Some burning in one eye for a couple minutes. Applied TKB shades (with added base). Creased and faded quite substantially within four or five hours

Second use: Used a still smaller amount. Don't remember which brand of shadow I used. Did not crease as badly as before after about five hours, but there was noticeable creasing and some fading.

Third use: Used a small amount (similar to amount used on second try), then pixie epoxy. Used two Fyrinnae shadows. When I checked my lids around 8-9 hours later, the shadows had faded to the point that there was almost nothing there at all, which was hugely disappointing. Never had that result with PE! It had also creased substantially.

Fourth use: Applied a tiny tiny amount (squeezed the primer out JUST a bit, let it touch my ring finger, and used half of that tiny dab for each lid. Applied one Aromaleigh Rocks! shadow. When I returned home six hours later and checked, it was very very faded and creasing very noticeably.
Will keep trying.

Fifth use: Used a slightly larger amount (I thought I was using way too little, as my lids acted like I wasn't even wearing a primer) and just one basic shimmery eyeshadow from Stardust all over. The application was sheer. Five hours later, it was fading noticeably and transferring into my crease and above substantially. Ten hours after application, it had faded and creased noticeably. I don't get it!! What am I doing wrong!? AGH! I are confuse =(

Sixth use: Used about the same small amount I've been using, ever so slightly more than use #4, then used Kryolan aqua pearlshades in Anthracite over top. Then, a Hi Fi color on the lid and two archetype colors in the crease. Upon application, everything looked pretty good over the extra base. Four hours later, everything still looks fine. No creasing. A very small amount of fading in the crease colors. Six hours later, it's beginning to crease. The colors that did not have the Anthracite base under them are fading noticeably. Ten hours later, the shadow over the Kryolan base is pretty much fine. No noticeable fading and no creasing, but everything not on the base is fading and creasing. GRRR! Frustration! I really just don't think this base will work =( May just have to shell out the cash for UDPP again.. wish I had known this might not work for me first though =( POO!

Seventh use: I used substantially more this time than before. Easily 3 times the amount, and got arguably possibly better results *boggle*
It still didn't help the shadows go on well. They were sheer as heck =( and after 4 or so hours, there was no creasing but the color had faded a lot and transferred everywhere. I refreshed it with a bit more shadow over top since I was going out that evening, and about 6 hours after that, everything was a faded creasing mess =(

I give up. This just isn't getting any better. I'm gonna repurchase UDPP in the coming weeks. Poo. I really wish there had been some sort of indication that this might not work well for some.. but all the reviews I found were just GLOWING, about how well it works and how vibrant the shadows are =(
I'm really disappointed. Wish I could return the primer or something, but oh well. Just have to take a loss this time. I'm going to continue using it until I actually have any money to spend, as I'm currently way past what I should have spent from my savings what with not being able to work at all yet and having almost no money coming in, so poo on that, but if anything different happens, I'll update.

All in all, I had zero success with SoBe Primed and Proper. It just never worked. No matter the amount I used or what shadows I used, it transferred, faded and creased like crazy. I just don't get it =\ at first I felt like I was doing something wrong, but now I don't even know what the problem is. Ah well. Such is life!

Of course, I would like to note that I am not saying anything negative about the company itself. I've had only limited communication with the owner, but it's all been very professional and pleasant, my order was shipped promptly and well-packaged, and everything just went as one would expect. The product just didn't work for me. Of course, I couldn't speak for any other SoBe products! Just wanting to share my experiences with the intarwebz!

Bokeh Face "Name That Collection" Contest entry- Beautiful Undeath (Zombie Collection)

So, Bokeh Face is having a contest! (See the link <--) In this contest, you're supposed to come up with up to 10 eyeshadows in a collection. I've always thought a big zombie collection would be supercool, so here's my entry!!

My reason for choosing zombies as a theme is that I really have always loved zombies! In fact, I recently registered with the SRA as a Zombie. See my registration here!
So... there's that =P
But really, I don't know what my attraction to zombies is. They aren't exactly glamorous like vampires, or quite as powerful as werewolves... there's just something about zombies that really clicks with me <3 I love 'em!!

First of all, I thought "Beautiful Undeath" would be a cool name for the collection! Who doesn't want to doll up their zombie side? I know I do!
Here are the shade names and color descriptions that I came up with!

1. Apocalypse: A smooth, deep black overlaid with TONS of orange and red glitter/sparkle/shimmer. (I imagine the black in this to be either completely matte, or somewhat satin.)

2. Survival: Bright, purple-leaning fuchsia shimmer, with a blue/lavender duochrome.

3. Narrow Escape: Burgundy shimmer with very subtle green sparkle and/or shimmer, and subtle red shimmer.

4. Infection: Blackened red with strong red sparkle/shimmer and subtle green sparkle/shimmer.

5. Undeath: Deep (perhaps royal/jeweltone) purple with a dark green duochrome and green shimmer.

6. Hunger: Greyish green with green sparkle, subtle red shimmer, and silver/grey sparkle.

7. Zombie Love Affair: Fuchsia with a strong green duochrome, and pink and green sparkles. (zombie love just seems cute as hell to me!)

8. Braaaaains!: Greyed out pink (more like mid grey with strong pink duo/shimmer/sparkle) with silver sparkle.

9. Shambler: Midtone (but still bright and strong) purple with a green duochrome and sparkle, and subtle blue sparkle. (This one's my favorite!)

10. Zombie Unicorn: Silvery pastel princess pink with a somewhat subtle green duochrome and rainbow SPARKLE! (And I do mean SPARKLE!)

So there you have it! I hope there's at least someone out there who finds these ideas as awesome as I do, and I sure hope I win! This would be a fantastic collection to even see, let alone own <3

Poison Apple Apothecary review: Psyche, Gilded

Poison Apple Apothecary (currently on vacation for a while) is a lovely Etsy seller, mostly of perfumes. They also have products like scrubs and creams, also scented with many of their perfume scents!

This will be a very preliminary review, just of my initial experience with the shop and the products. Once I've had time to really use the perfumes, I will update with more, and pictures!

Recently, Poison Apple announced on Facebook that they would be taking a break, and they had a few bottles already filled and ready to ship, which they were offering for almost half off! Two of the scents I had been fawning over were on that list, so I snatched them up. I would rather have been able to sample them first, but when are you going to get a better deal!? I placed my order on 3/31, it was shipped (with Delivery Confirmation) on 4/4, and it arrived (after some frustration over the mail being SUUUUUPER late!) on 4/7. The whole transaction was very quick, shipping was prompt and the perfumes were packed VERY securely.

First, I opened the small bubble envelope to find a business card (no invoice, but that's not a problem at all for me) and a nice small package wrapped in purple tissue paper and tied with a ribbon. I removed the ribbon and found that the package was also taped up. I tore off the tape to find my two bottles very securely wrapped in bubble wrapped and taped up safely. I actually took a number of minutes to rip open the bubble wrap; there is NO way these things would be damaged under ANY normal shipping circumstances. I am very happy with how securely they were packed!

So, the scents I got were Psyche and Gilded.

I am usually not a huge fan of floral scents, so I really am not sure why I picked Psyche. I guess Vanilla being in the mix kind of swayed me, and I do tend to be a fan of some Jasmine scents. It smelled really flowery and feminine when I opened it, but it wasn't overpowering sniffing it straight from the bottle.
I still was pretty apprehensive about it and wasn't really sure whether I'd like it. I applied it as I usually do (a dab behind each ear, and rubbed between the wrists) and it did smell really nice. I still wasn't really sure it was quite for me though. After wearing it once (last night, grocery shopping) I found it to be a bit on the light side for my tastes. After around an hour and a half, I really had to press my nose into my wrist to smell it clearly. While I certainly don't like overpowering scents, this was just a bit too light for me I think.
The more I smell it, however, the more I like it. It still is quite light, and I'm not yet sure if anyone else could smell it on me (I'll test that out a bit later).
If you like gentle floral scents with not too much throw, this is great for you. As I said, it smells really nice, just not exactly a scent I would pin as very "me" but hey, I have it now, so I'm gonna use it!

Update 9:50 PM 4/11/11 : I wore Psyche once more today to a job interview. After a couple of hours it was there, but the scent was not obvious. I might try going for a heavier application and see if that changes things. It's a shame I haven't gotten these scents to last longer, they smell soooooo pretty!!

Gilded, right from the bottle, is pretty strong. Just waving it under my nose, it smells like lemon cakes or cookies. Very lemony and very sweet. I REALLY like it! After having just applied it for the first time, I can definitely smell it on me without having to actually sniff myself =P which I definitely like (I prefer for perfumes to be smell-able without someone having to actively lean in and sniff me, ideally). It smells essentially the same as in the bottle, just more diffused.

Update as of 1:05AM 4/9/11: I refreshed this perfume before going out to dinner. I didn't think to check it while I was out, but when I got home approximately 2 hours later, the scent was still there, but I really had to SNIFF to find it, which makes me a little sad panda =( but it really is a lovely yummy scent! More notes later!

Update 4/26/11: I've used Gilded a few more times, this time applying more heavily. When applied a bit more than I might normally use, this perfume lasts around two hours on me. After that, it's just barely there if you REALLY try to find it. I wish it would last longer though!

I am definitely pleased with my experience with Poison Apple. The scents are really lovely, and I have a bunch more on my wish list, which I will be purchasing samples of to make my final decision =D I can't wait to try more scents!
And please excuse me if this review is somehow lacking, I've never reviewed perfume before and am not entirely familiar with how best to do so!!

Evil Shades swatches/review

I've ordered from Evil Shades... 3 times, I believe? Each time has been more than satisfactory. I've never had problems, and the products have always been quite nice.

Eyeshadows swatched over UDPP, lipstick and blush over bare skin (I applied the blush pretty heavily here so you can really see the color)

As I said, I've never had problems with Evil Shades. Their products are all really nice and I love their whole look.

For some reason, the blue flash on Bane isn't showing up here =( It looks MUCH prettier than it does in the swatch. I bought a sample of it a while ago, and I liked it pretty well so I decided to get a full size since the price is so low. I was REALLY IMPRESSED! It smells WONDERFUL, SO delicious, and HOLY WOW DOES IT LOOK FANTASTIC. This is one product I am really concerned I might end up running out of! It really is just great <3

All the blushes are nice as well, but I'm still so new to blush. I seem to have a hard time deciding exactly where to apply it, how much, and what colors I should look for =( but these have all been pretty nice, as most of them are quite subtle!

I would wholeheartedly recommend Evil Shades to anyone, it really is a great company!

Their products are top notch and REALLY well priced, Pixie Epoxy is wonderful, shipping is reasonable, though the turnaround times can get long =( but at least they keep you updated and always communicate! I'll see if I can get some decent pictures sometime soon~~ but I can say this: If you're considering getting any lip lustres, do it. They're wonderful products. They really are unlike any other lippies! They're pigmented and SUPER buttery and they REALLY last! And if you're considering any of these colors, DO IT. I thought Amplifier would be more of a fun crazy color but I actually wear it more than any other lip product. It's AWESOME!

Morgana Cryptoria swatches

A while... kind of a long while now... ago I won a small giveaway for a $20 Morgana Cryptoria gift card and with it I got Azalea Blue lipstick, and Ethereal Veil.
Review wise, I don't have much to post, the transaction itself was unremarkable, shipped in a perfectly timely manner and arrived SUPER fast since I am in the same state =D

Both products are quite nice, I use the veil often and the lipstick on more special occasions.
I will note, though, that the lipstick is OMFGPIGMENTED so do be sparing when you use it. First time I applied it I had to blot a LOT! It's a wonderful lipstick.

So here you are, swatches!

Ethereal Veil + Azalea Blue lipstick

The veil is kinda hard to see, since it's really not meant to add any sort of color, it just adds a very subtle blue tinted glow. I think it's beautiful!
And yeah that lipstick... like whoa. Really whoa. Amazing! You really do need to be sparing with it, the pigmentation is SERIOUS, so you don't need tons. The color is just so strong and vibrant! Much love.

Swatched over UDPP

Super Sonic Overdrive + Pixies + Deep Water + Spike the Punch + Punk Rocker + Drunken Kiss + Beneath the Rose

I ordered five full-sized eyeshadows. The bottom two were free samples.
Super Sonic Overdrive- very bright blue. I was expecting it to be somewhat stronger, but it's great nonetheless and not like any colors I have now.
Pixies- very pretty pale lavender. It goes really well with Spike the Punch! Unfortunately I've found 2 or 3 little globs of blue pigment stuck in this. I've picked them out and so far not found anymore, but that was a minor annoyance.
Deep Water- awesome, dark, sparkley. It's just what I was expecting. Very nice. Looks a LOT better over a sticky base, and really pops over black.
Spike the Punch- It's a but more violet/red-ish than it shows here. Almost the same as the description. I was super excited for this one, and I love it!
Punk Rocker- I was a little apprehensive about this, as I do have a lot of pinks/reds already but this one was as strongly pigmented as I was hoping and sets itself apart.

I'm pretty darn pleased with all these colors, and that black friday sale was a DEAL.
This is just the type of makeup that cosmetology students
from Online Colleges love because of the strong pigmentation.

NYX Glitter liners

I usually buy my NYX products from Cherry Culture or Ulta
Here are swatches and a brief review of the three glitter liners I have from NYX

Candy Glitter Liner: Lime + Glitter Liner: Crystal + Liquid Crystal Liner: Crystal Onyx

The liners themselves are all great, they work well, and last pretty long. My favorite is the liquid crystal. It's very opaque and the glitter is really noticeable. Crystal is allright, though I feel it doesn't have a great concentration of glitter really. Lime is fine product-wise, but the brush is HORRIBLE. It is the WORST brush I have ever in my life encountered, by far. I honestly wouldn't recommend purchasing this. You can get a bright green somewhere else, seriously. It isn't worth it.

EDIT (4/8/2011): After using Crystal Onyx many many times, I can wholeheartedly say that it is NICE! It's a really great liner for the upper lashline. I like it better than plain black, what with the pretty silver sparkles =) I definitely recommend this one.

I ordered the Sailor Mars set, five full sized eyeshadows themed around Sailor Mars <3 hooray!
The bottom two were received as free samples.
I ordered on Nov. 4th, and it arrived approximately a week later, I don't remember exactly though, sorry =(

The shadows came packed in clear jars without sifters, and are labeled on the bottom with the shadow name handwritten, and on top with the company name. The samples also came in jars.

As for the colors- I found that the swatches and descriptions were pretty accurate. I had no problems in that respect.

My opinions on the colors- I LOVE Rei. Gorgeous. It's a nice strong black with red and purple sparkles. Mars Crystal Power is also lovely. It's a bright red with strong gold iridescence and glitter.

Sailor Mars is great too, a really bright true red with glitter.

Princess Mars is a light salmon-ish red with glitter. It's pretty but not my favorite color.

Mars Flame Sniper is a really orangey sort of red with red/gold glitter. Again, pretty but not really a favorite.

These all have glitter in them, which really wants a stickier base to hold on to, rather that just primer.

I really liked this set all in all, it's obvious this company is quite small and just starting, but the colors are really nice and I have had no problems to speak of! A very good purchase.

EDIT: After using these colors a while, I love them even more. They're just lovely and I seriously LOVE red eyeshadow. A lot. A lot a lot! I am 100% happy with this purchase.

why i've been gone...

the very few people who follow me might have noticed, I haven't written anything about anything for months!
Well, I do tend to procrastinate, but that's not the reason I haven't been writing at all.

On september 15th at about 4 in the afternoon, I was coming home from school on the bus as usual, and crossed the street very near the house at a LIGHTED CROSSWALK. I was struck by a drunk driver in the crosswalk. She was going about 45 mph, and her blood alcohol level was .278 WTF
Anyway, she fled the scene (bad idea. luckily someone followed her and she was arrested) and luckily there were TONS of witnesses stopped at the light, so I got help immediately and was taken to the hospital.

my left leg was broken, and now I have a metal rod through my tibia
the right side of my collarbone was fractured (broken) and the very end piece which broke off has settled itself underneath the other part of the collarbone
my right scapula was fractured
my pelvis was fractured in two places
my right 4th metacarpal (the bone in my hand corresponding to the ring finger) was broken, and i had to have tendons reattached in october. I have a metal plate and four screws on top of that bone now.
my tailbone may be either fractured, or bent inwards
my left arm is covered in scars, i have a large scar over my left eyebrow, and scars on my right side, as well as two large and four small incisions in my left leg and one incision on my right hand, and a large laceration on my right knee

so that blows. a lot. I dont remember the accident, or the few days leading up to it, or the first week or so i was in the hospital.
i spent 13 days in the hospital and had two surgeries (I think?) only one which I actually knew i would need, since I was sedated after i came into the hospital
I've been home since late september and have been able to use the computer for a while now, though it hasn't been easy.
I've started physical therapy for my leg and occupational therapy for my hand
I can sort of walk now, mostly, and i'm told my hand will likely be able to go back to how it was before with some work
so there are not any permanent injuries, just scars. No spinal injuries, no brain injuries, nothing missing, no broken teeth, luckily. and I am alive.

so I'm mostly okay now. Not perfect, but fairly good.

I do have some reviews/swatches to do but I won't be working on that until I'm feeling up to it and much better, sorry!
Just felt I should make this post in case anyone was wondering where I went or something =(

Archetype: Swatches and Review

Archetype Cosmetics is, well... sometimes awful. Their colors are really incredible, many of them unmatched by other companies. However, you'd better hope everything goes well with your order, because you will NEVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER get a response from the owner. Ever. I did manage to get a pretty big sample order from them, along with a couple of full sizes. On to the swatches!

All in all, the colors are awesomely awesome, the prices are great and when everything goes well, you're golden, but order at your own risk. Some people have STILL not received orders placed months, even more than a YEAR ago! Just be careful!

So, now that you've seen the swatches, time for the review!

TKB Trading is a wholesaler of unblended colored micas. You can buy a TABLESPOON sized sample (That's enough to fill a 20 gram jar and then some!) for only $1.50. Damn. Some of the more expensive colors are a teaspoon, but that's still a TON of product.
Mica will work as eyeshadow by itself, but you do need an eyeshadow base. However, it's best to blend them with one of the bases available. I have the matte texture base and magnesium myristrate. My process is to fill a 5 gram jar with a suitable amount of product, then add just a teeny scoop (less than the small scoop) of magnesium myristrate and the matte texture base, and shake it all together. I never have problems with TKB colors over a good primer.

The colors are great on their own, but it's super easy to blend your own new colors, plus the website has a LOT of recipes!

Shipping for me was less than $5. There is a minimum order of $20. They ship internationally and have a MASSIVE amount of products, from micas for eyeshadows and such, other pigments, lipstick, lipgloss and lipbalm supplies, and more!

Along with all this, I got their set of 3 scoops to measure out mica when mixing (and for following recipes), a bunch of jars (5 gram and 20 gram), silica microspheres, and the freebie sampler (just search for "free" on the website!)

All in all, TKB is awesome. It's a good way to get basic colors, along with other more complex ones, and great for making your own interesting eyeshadows!

So Fyrinnae is pretty much awesome. I ordered a buttload of samples, 3 full sizes and 2 other products. They included 2 free samples, but they forgot one of my samples when my order arrived, so I emailed them and they sent the missing sample along with another. Bonus points for friendly customer service! They're always polite if I need to email for some reason, which is fantastic.
Awesome great stuff.
Pixie Epoxy is kickass, btw. You really can't appreciate the colors without it, they just look HEAPS better over it rather than primer alone.

I absolutely recommend Fyrinnae. They're a fantastic company and the products are worth the sometimes quite long wait. They always communicate, have splendid customer service, and everything arrives safe and well-packed.

Again, nice pigmentation, plenty of shimmer, etc.

Now that you've seen all of my swatches and a small amount of review, here is my conclusion!

Overall rating of product:
Packaging: 3
- While the little jars work and contain enough pigment, the clear tops of them DO NOT want to stay attached to the rim. This is easy enough to fix with some superglue, but that doesn't mean it's not a pain in the ass.

Product: 4.5
- This is pretty good stuff, actually. I have NO clue what's in it; probably something that will give me cancer or something, but it is most certainly pigmented and relatively easy to blend. This is cheap stuff, so it really isn't super top notch or anything, but I think you get what you pay for, absolutely.

Overall rating for seller:
Communication/Customer Service: 5
- I had a few questions, and she was always prompt in answering and always answered my questions. Very good

Shipping: 5
- I don't remember exactly how long it took, but it was what I expected from China to Arizona. No problems, things were packed well (though a couple jars came a little loose and got some powder on stuff, but not too much).

Conclusion:
Great!

I would buy from Tamanala(I think that's how ya spell it? =P) again, and I like the Leishi pigments. Damn good stuff for the price.
Perfect for beginners/getting a lot of colors fast.

Leishi part 1(Pinks and yellows) PLUS happy new year's!

Hi everyone! Before I do the swatches/review-ish stuff, I'd like to say that I hope everyone's new year's eve was great; mine was okay. We went to grandma's and since the full moon was last night it was also a full moon party, so there were loads of old hippies there and we all stood in a circle around the pool and held hands and went "OM" and stuff, like hippies do. Anyway! It was a good night, yummy food, loud drumming and all that..

On an unrelated note, one of the packages I got for Holiday was a set of Leishi eyeshadows from ebay <-- follow the link to find the store!
They're cheapie made in china eyeshadows, but they're cheap cheap and I've heard good reviews about them, so I went ahead and ordered some!
I also ordered a set of glitters, but they are sadly too large to be used safely as a cosmetic product, so I'll sell the ones I got doubles of I guess and use the others with craft stuff. I'm sure I can come up with something.

The shipping was free and didn't take too long from china, the seller has good feedback and my communications with her were pleasant and she responded promptly.

There were a lot of colors so I'm breaking this into pieces. Here's the first set of swatches:

They're numbered, not named, and I don't think they're numbered in any particular order, but here they are!

None of the colors are identical to eachother, but some of them are very similar.

I haven't made much use of them yet but they are well pigmented, all of them are shimmery (some more than others) and they go on nicely.

I hope everyone else's Holiday was great, I think this has been one of my best so far!! I got a lot of great stuff, gave a lot of great stuff, and had a lot of fun!

Though Jake is in New Mexico with his family =( so that's no fun. But from now on we'll start flip flopping between families together, so he'll be with us this coming Holiday... I'm kinda scared for that >.<
Anyway!

I've got TONS more stuff to review and hopefully I'll get my scanner running so I can get some art scanned in >.< I am a lazy ass!

Stardust Cosmetics Holiday Collection swatches & review

Heyas everybody, hope everyone's having a great Holiday time! I know I am!

A little while back, Stardust Cosmetics had an awesome giveaway and I was lucky enough to win their entire Holiday Collection! Which is an ENORMOUS amount of goodies! I was so excited, as you may imagine, and a couple days ago my package arrived!
Everything was packed into an envelope and inside were two pink organza bags full of fake snow and glittery iridescent goodness! I promptly dumped the glitter on myself...

Anyway, there are 14 eyeshadows, 3 shimmerliners and 3 shimmer powders. They come in clear jars with sifters, labeled on top with the brand name and on the bottom with the color and other information.
I love all of them! Here are the swatches for you all =)

Eyeshadows:

The shadows are lovely! All the colors are rich and interesting, though Crystals and Velvet and Northern Dream don't want to go on very opaquely. I figure they would work better over a stickier base, but the pigmentation over just primer is not all that great. The other colors are fine, especially the more neutral ones. They're all quite shimmery and some glittery! Love. Arctic Whisper makes a good dramatic highlight, and is great for inner corners.

Shimmerliners:

Again, fabulous products. These are RICH and SPARKLY! I don't have a product to wetline them with yet, so these are just over a base, but you can see how awesome they look! The sparkles are quite strong and lovely. I am definitely a fan of these!

Shimmer Powders:

Winter's Kiss is hands down my favorite. It's got light blueish shimmer to it and I LOVE that!
Shimmerstorm also looks fabulous wetlined! I've been using Melt the Snow as a blush quite often. It's subtle and looks really lovely!

Here are a couple of simple looks that I've done:
This is Crystals and Velvet all over, with Arctic Whisper to highlight and in the inner corners. Simple and nice.

This one is Northern Dream all over the lid (on top of Kryolan's "Anthracite" black eyeshadow base) with Hearthstone in the crease and Arctic Whisper to highlight. I wasn't sure if this would look good on me, but the blue in Northern Dream is really brought out by the black base, it looks fabulous!

Stardust Cosmetics is thoroughly awesome
Their products are quality and well-packaged, nicely pigmented.
The shadows are complex and interesting, I'm excited to use them all, even the neutrals!
The shipping was prompt and didn't take too long from Canada to Arizona, about a week.

Hello again! I haven't had much to write about lately. Finals week going on, I have 2 more to do and I'm thoroughly confident in myself, which is awesome!
Been getting some Holiday orders in. Speaking of Holiday, I need to make an FSM tree topper. I keep putting that off >.< I'll post pics when it's done.

I've had the flu or something recently. Last weekend I was congested and a little sick to my stomach, and it got better and better as the time went by, but on Thursday me and Jake spent the night at his mom's house and that evening it all got worse >.< my throat was swollen and my eyes hurt and I had the worst headache ever. Today I'm feeling a little better. At least my eyes don't hurt, but I'm still dizzy and sniffly. Yay.

But this picture always makes me feel better. Bunny rape. Lulz.

So... what else...

AHA! The other day, me and Jake went shopping. I got the most awesome comfy bright red bra for six bucks at Ross. I love that place. Never will I pay full price for quality undergarments!!
Then we went to the mall, where I got a warm comfy over-sized hoodie from old navy (yay child labor!) for $16, and at hot topic I found the single best T-Shirt in the history of T-Shirts. Seriously:

I need to get another one of these; the large fits me PERFECTLY. I know I will wear this thing to DEATH and then be depressed when it's worn out.

So, good times.
Waiting for mom to finish cooking dinner. She's finally cooking again, it's so nice. Maybe the world will end in 2012!

Lastly: it's been 16 business days since my PukiPuki's been ordered. I can't wait! I'm contemplating naming him Garlic... any thoughts?

The Goings-On

Hello all! Haven't been writing much lately; there hasnt been a lot going on, but I'll update you on what's been up!

Firstly, I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving, mine was great! You know, down to grandma's, eat way too much food, all that good stuff.
Nextly, my parents FINALLY got their divorce finalized! On the 24th. They've been separated (though living on the same property, we have 2 houses next to eachother) for years now, so this is a big thing! I'm very happy for my dad.

I've been slowly getting christmas orders done (yeah im ordering all my gifts myself with other peoples' money so I get exactly what I want >.> I am picky. Many swatches and reviews will come!)
Excitement!!

And I'll be getting this little guy by february! My little Cupid <3

I don't have a whole lot to post about right now, but I figured I could share a little something!
Here's a listy thing of some of my favorite movies =D

These are in no particular order, just as they come to me.

Ben X- This is a movie me and Jake found at blockbuster some time ago. We didn't know it was a dutch movie but dutch is close enough to German for me to understand some (yay!) and it has subtitles of course. This movie is about a teenage boy with autism, and he gets brutally picked on at school, he can't socialize properly with people and generally just has issues around others.
He plays an MMORPG (i forget what it's called but it is a real game, and it looks awesome) and in the game he's a hero. He has a sorta girlfriend and everything. Then, she says she's going to take the train to come see him. And some bad stuff happens......
It's an absolutely compelling movie. I was expecting something depressing but it really made me feel happy =D The whole movie may have been
different if he had just attended an online high school.

Tampopo (japanese for Dandelion)- This is a movie that my dad showed us. Jake has an interest in opening up a ramen/sushi shop (how win is that??) and so this was really relevant. It's about a woman named Tampopo who aspires to be a ramen chef. She finds a teacher to help her. There are a lot of stories going on on the side. This movie is all about the role of food in japanese culture, the relation to food and sex, and all kinds of food stuff. AWESOME movie. Srs bzns. We rented this at Casa Video, which is a funky old independent movie rental place.

The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover- Longest title ever huh? This is another food movie that my dad suggested. Basically; a fat rich greedy man owns a french restaurant and eats there every night with his wife and friends. He's abusive and generally nasty to everyone, especially the head cook and his own wife, who is a gorgeous woman. His wife eventually begins to have an affair with another man, and the staff of the restaurant protect and hide them. The story is very powerful and ends up being sad and awesome at the end. It's got strong, operatic music and the acting is perfect. The whole movie is incredible. Go rent it NOW. This was also rented from Casa Video.

Pan's Labyrinth- I'm sure you've all heard of this movie by now, but it's awesomeawesome. Directed by Guillermo Del Toro, who also did Hellboy and all that win stuff. What I like most about this guy is that he realizes that puppets can be INFINITELY more effective than CGI when used properly, you LAZY MOVIE MAKING SONS OF BITCHES! His use of animatronics and puppets is incredible, it adds so much to the film. It's placed in Spain during a time of civil war. Ophelia, a young girl who loves fairy tales, is moving with her pregnant mother to live with an evil army man, her new stepfather. EWW evil stepfather, rite?
So she's exploring and eventually she goes into an old labyrinth on the property and adventure ensues.
Awesome movie, spanish with english subtitles and all that, very worth the watch.

Young Frankenstein- Gene Wilder as young doktor FRANKUNSTEEN. A funny re-telling of the classic story. Super super funny and generally good.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch- Another pretty popular movie, directed and starred in by John Cameron Mitchell (who I hugged when he was here at The Loft!!!!). About a rockstar, Hedwig, who was born in east germany during the wall and all that business. He fell in love with a soldier and had to get a sex change to cross the border and get married. But ... "My sex change operation was botched, My guardian angel fell asleep on the watch, Now all I got is a barbie doll crotch, I got an angry inch..." or so goes the song. This movie is full of win, it follows Hedwig's life story as he explains it in between songs at various small venues. I saw a live performance of it, and it was positively fantastic. If you haven't seen this movie yet, where have you been??

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (durr), which is so much fun live if your city does those performances.

Party Monster, the book was also very good.

Elf- awesome christmas movie.

and a lot of others, but those are at the top of the list.

Now here's a little extra something:

Clive Barker's Books of Blood are awesome collections of short horror stories. A lot of them have been and will be turned into movies/shows.

To list a few: The Yattering and Jack- my FAVORITE story, turned into a tales from the darkside episode which pretty much failed.
Rawhead Rex- awesome story, worst movie ever made. Bad. Bad. Bad. I demand a remake.
The Forbidden- You'll know this one as Candyman, which rocked hardcore.
The Last Illusion, which is the movie Lord of Illusions, and I actually didnt pay attention when we were watching this. So I can not judge, but the story was good.
The Body Politic is a movie called Quicksilver Highway, which I have not seen

and then there are the more recent ones- The Midnight Meat Train, which was FUCKING SICK. I LOVED that movie to DEATH. LOVE. Accurate to the story, well done, generally awesome

The Book of Blood- VERY well done. Not my favorite, but good. The end of the movie is the reprise of the story, titled "On Jerusalem Street"

In production are Dread(I think, not sure), which was a super fucked up story, and Pig's Blood Blues, which is also thoroughly horrible.
I love these stories. Clive Barker is fucking win, and so are a lot of these movies.

Ball-jointed Dolls (BJDs)

Hello all! Today I'd like to share one of my many interests with you!

For a LONG, LONG time I've been interested in these dolls (awesome beautiful things!)
They're called Ball-Jointed Dolls and mostly come from asian countries. They've been around for a very long time, and one of the most established companies that sells these is Volks. Volks isn't my favorite but they are very popular!
Another popular company is LUTS. Most prominently they are a retailer of Cerberus Project dolls (the Delf/Senior Delf/Kid Delf, etc.) I actually had an El Special but ended up never having enough room for the big (60CM) dolls.

Personally, I love tinies. They're usually classified as dolls below 20CM tall, but my favorites are the pukipukis from Fairyland. They are SO incredibly itty bitty (less than 5 inches tall! Dollhouse scale!) so I'm looking forward to getting one of them!

The doll that I currently own (Miss Violet Truffles Carmen Baxter) is an Alice Cherry Blossom from Charles Creature Cabinet. They were sold as various limited edition sets through Elfdoll. I managed to get one second hand from Den of Angels (which is the best forum for BJDs! Go check it out if you're at all interested in these awesome dolls!)
I don't have any pictures of her since she still has no eyes (oh yeah, did I mention their eyes and hair are removable?), but you can see the DoA database for Alice Cherry Blossom here. She's so very adorable and I LOVE how tiny she is!!

Sci-Fi Inspired look for Madeleine Bouquet!

I don't know why I immediately thought "ZOMG EVIL SCI-FI MAN EATING ALIEN PLANT MONSTER!!!!" But that was my thought process doing this look.

UPDATE: After using the site for a while, I really do recommend it. It takes a while to collect points, but they don't spam and I haven't gotten anything nasty from them, and they do cash out (I always get PayPal deposits). So, recommended!

I found this site a week ago or so, and so far I haven't gotten enough points to redeem anything, but it's supposed to be something where you do searches with their engine (which isn't very good but whatever) and you get "swagbucks"

which you can hopefully redeem for prizes. Just like peter piper pizza or something, the only good stuff is for a retarded amount of points but it's supposed to be free stuff, I guess.

Aromaleigh Swatches and Review part 2

Here's the second half of my review of Aromaleigh.

Again, swatched over UDPP

Dormant Dream is an awesome shimmery pink. It's lighter than Boiling Point and more sparkly. Another super awesome pink.

Moon Age Daydream is a deep, shimmery greenish blue. I like it, but dark shades of blueish colors tend to make me look like an old lady =( so I don't know if I will use it a lot.

Morphing Moon is similar to Moon Age Daydream, but definitely lighter and more silvery. I like this color, it looks reallu nice on me.

Bette is really awesome; sort of a greyish color with a hint of brown, with rainbow shimmer. I love the whole collection of these and Bette is just gorgeous. Order it!

Mata Hari is a glitter. It's tealish with maroon mixed in, and it looks great on. I had to add a little extra primer to get it to stick of course, but it would look great foiled or over another shadow.

Passion is a complex, sort of brownish color with multicolored sparkle. I've seen a lot of people making a fuss about this as well, but it isn't my favorite. I thought it would be a little more purple than it is. I dunno if Ill make use of it, but it is pretty!

Overall, Aromaleigh is a great company. They have TONS of products, sales every week, coupons, a points program, and their own forum. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Aromaleigh swatches and review part 1

Aromaleigh is a very well-established company that's been running for 11(?) years, i think.

They have TONS of awesome colors. So many shades and limited edition collections. They also carry lip and face products. Really good stuff.

This is part 1 because there are a LOT of colors here, I ordered tons of samples, so I'm just going to split it up.

2. Spellbound

I also recieved a free sample of Nuance lipstick.

Boiling Point is nice. It's a strong, deep pink color. It doesn't have much shimmer but it isn't matte. I love pinks, so this is a great addition to my collection and I think I'll buy it full sized.

Spellbound is a very pretty purple. It goes on a little lighter than what it looks like in the package. Again, between a matte and shimmer.

Helter Skelter is an awesome red. I adore red eyeshadow, it looks awesome on me, so this is a great one. It's incredibly strong and pigmented.

I See Red is very similar to Helter Skelter, but ever so slightly lighter.

Kiss is similar to Spellbound, but absolutely matte and lighter. I don't usually like matte colors but I thought I'd give it a try, and I do like it. The photos don't show it well, it does show up a lot more than what you see =P

Psyche is one that I saw people making a fuss about, so I snagged a sample. It's a pretty silver with multicolored sparkle in it- very very nice and it goes on easily, and covers smoothly. I love this color!

Underworld is like Psyche, but more brown/reddish.

Nuance (which I don't have pictures of, sorry!) is essentially the color of my lips but a little darker and somewhat brown. I saw the sample and went "i'll never wear that, psh" but then I tried it and went OMFGWTFBBQ! It looked really great on me, so I ordered a full size! Thanks Aromaleigh!!

so, as mentioned, this is certainly coming too late for it to matter much!
But here's the review of my Meow Cosmetics samples.

I ordered samples of (halloween)Spellbinding, Necromancer, Warlock, Spectre, (friday the 13th) Skeptic, (egyptian Treasures)Royal, and Ra
I recieved the blush "tease" and the liner "neurotic" for free! Love.

Here are the swatches. Poor pictures, I apologize. It was late in the day so I didnt have any natural light >.< but the colors are relatively true to life, if a little washed out. Swatched overUDPP. 1. Spellbinding 2. Necromancer 3. Warlock 4. Skeptic 5. Spectre 6. Royal 7. Ra 8. Tease 9. Neurotic

My Review: They dont offer free shipping for samples *tear* but thats allright. The shipping was quick and my samples came wrapped in adorable leopard-print tissue paper, and there was a little "thanks, Anneliese" on the invoice, which for some reason I always love. Im a sucker for little things like that.
They also packed me two extra samples, Tease blush and Neurotic liner ( both of which I think I may just use as eyeshadow >.>)

Spellbinding is awesome; again with these shimmery, duochromey colors! Its a simple sheer highlight color, and I loves it!
Necromancer is black with pinky orangey (?) sparkle, so pretty! The photos didn't capture it well, but it is really loaded with shimmer.
Warlock is another black, but this one has blue and aqua sparkle in it, it photographed a little better!
Skeptic is really nice; blue that goes a little pink/purple in the light. Complex and interesting.
Spectre is one of my favorites here. It looks white but applies green (<3) and you can see it really well in the photos.
Royal isn't as orangey as the pictures show, but I expected it to be closer to a maroon than just sort of red. I was a little unhappy with the color and dont know if I'd wear it, but it is still pretty; just not my style.
Ra is a bright bright gold, it's SO gorgeous! I don't know when I'll wear it, but it is definitely awesome =D Tease is a very bright pink blush. Since I dont wear blush (my face is already so pink, it would make me look like a clown lawl), I may just use it as an eyeshadow. It is a nice color though. The pictures make it a little orange? It's definitely a true, bright pink.
Neurotic is my favorite!! (who would have thought the free sample would be the one I like the most?). I absolutely LOVE this color. It's black with lots of multicolored sparkles. It's full of interesting bits and pieces of color- would make a great liner or shadow!
Overall, I like Meow Cosmetics and would certainly recommend them. The shipping is a little more expensive than a lot of places I've shopped at but that isn't really an issue for me. The colors go on very well, they have great texture, and are just an overall good product.

Howdy, folks!

I'm Bhevarri and since I'm going to start blogging (...I hate that word) more often than previously.. which was never, I figured I'd introduce myself!

I'm Anneliese, aka Lizzy or Bhevarri.
I have a lot of hobbies and interests, and I am a lot of things.
Most prominently:

-I've been with my boyfriend, Jake, for just over 5 years
EDIT: As of April 1st, 2010 (I know, great day for this) Jake left me. We recently got back together (Feb. 2011) Hope this doesn't end horribly...
-I love to draw and watercolor
-I do ALL sorts of crafty things, though I'm not really especially good at any of them =P
-I enjoy music (just about all kinds of music, except country!)
-I love to cook, but I'm usually too lazy
-I play WoW(level 80 tauren shaman, sentinels server), though less now because of college
EDIT: No longer play, after Jake and I split up. I play Combat Arms now.
-I speak German fairly fluently. Wenn du eine Frage für mich hast, bitte klar und einfache Wörter benutzen, ich kann besser verstehen als ich sprechen kann! =)
-I'm a Pastafarian, for srs. If you have a problem with the FSM, get out NAO
-I spend a fair amount of time on 4chan
-I love Ball-Jointed Dolls, especially super tinies (pukipuki!)
-I have an Angel Kigurumi (see picture!)
-I like to think I'm a kind person, but if something pisses me off, you will know. I am always absolutely honest and I like it when people are honest back!
-I love crazy colors and sparkles
-I tend to overuse smileys, sorry. I'm working on it.
-I've recently become interested in makeup =D yay!
-I like dressing like a pirate (hello Halloween!!)
EDIT: As of August 2010, I am a prospective member of the 501st Legion, a Star Wars costuming/charity organization. So now I can dress like a Sandtrooper!!
